Party, Party, Party

Lately, it seems like Jake has been on the party circuit--the birthday party circuit, that is. First, he was invited to Ryan Harriss' 4th birthday party which was at a dance studio. Jake talked about going to the "dance party" all day and the party definitely didn't disappoint. Jake had so much fun dancing to the "Hokie Pokie", the "Chicken Dance" and running around with all of the kids.

Then, a week after that party, he was invited to Tyler Rudd's 2nd birthday party which was held at the Edwardsville Children's Museum. They had all kinds of different areas where the kids could play--Jake especially loved pretending to shop at the grocery store, playing with the money at the bank and being a fireman.
Then, on the 13th, we celebrated Aunt Meg's birthday with lunch at Red Robin. Momo and Papa also joined us that day--unfortunately, Papa had caught the stomach bug that Andrew had so he wasn't much in the mood for a party--hope you're feeling better, Papa Dane!! Jake likes Red Robin because they have balloons there--on this particular day, Jake and Andrew's hair must have been full of static because everytime the balloon got anywhere near them their hair stood straight up (what little hair he has, in Andrew's case.) Here's a few pics from all the parties set to one of my favorite 80's tunes--you might remember it from the movie "Sixteen Candles" (a classic in my book).
