Christmas 2008

As usual, sorry for the delay in posts but, with the holidays, things have been busy around here. (I'm just not that together to do daily posts, I guess :)). We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Year because I know we sure did.

Our Christmas season started off with a visit from Papa Dennis and Nana Debbie a couple of weeks before Christmas. We love when they come in town from Branson for a visit--there's always lots of laughs and stories. We invited everyone to our house and ordered pizza from Josh's favorite pizza place in the world--Roma's in Bethalto (thanks Ryan for picking it up). Unfortunately, Cole had a fever that night so he and Christy couldn't make it. Josh's step-sister, Allison, and her husband, Chuck, and two girls, Hannah and Hailey also came over for the early Christmas celebration, which was a lot of fun since we hadn't seen them in a while. Jake had tons of fun playing with Hannah and Hailey and, as usual, Andrew just giggled at everything the big kids did. We were sad to see Papa and Nana head back to Branson but we are hoping to take a trip to Branson sometime this winter. Here's just a few pics from our get together.

Papa Dennis and Nana Debbie opening their gifts.

The kids going crazy on the gifts while the adults catch up--fun, fun!!

Andrew in his new rocking chair that Papa and Nana gave him and Jake in his that he got last year--aren't they some good looking boys?

The boys with Hannah (left) and Hailey (right)--notice there's only 3 stockings, I had to have Andrew's name embroidered on his and it got finished right before Christmas--whew!!
