Reason for Poll Question

The other night, Taran and I were up late watching Planes, Trains and Automobiles , one of my favorite all-time movies. Well, Taran started to remind me of all the other John Hughes movies and I realized how much I loved those as well. As a kid, I used to love the suburban scenes in which most of these movies were filmed. A lot of the time, they were filmed in some of the older Chicago suburbs. There were a few scenes in Planes, Trains and Automobiles that were shot in St. Louis. My personal favorite was when Steve Martin's character was at the Marathon rental car counter at Lambert. In any event, we thought it would be interesting to get your perspectives!
