Last Week

Since last week seemed to get away from me, here are a few highlights from the week.

Monday

After a very crazy weekend (see post about trip to UofI), Jake, Andrew and I spent most of Monday just taking it easy--the boys spent most of the morning in their pajamas while I caught up on laundry and other stuff. It's so cute to watch Jake and Andrew together--Andrew watches Jake's every move and Jake always stops to give Andrew a kiss when he's playing. So sweet!!

Wednesday

On Wednesday, the boys and I went to Alton to have lunch with Mimi, Papa and Cole. Jake just loves hanging out with his cousin, Cole. They had a great time that day coloring, playing with their blocks and running all over Mimi's house!!

Friday

On Friday, a friend of mine from college, Michelle, who lives in Decatur came to visit us with her kids, Carson and Caroline. I hadn't seen Michelle in over a year so it was great to catch up with her. Jake and Caroline are only 3 months apart so they had fun jumping in the trampoline and playing with the Uno cards while Carson, who is 4, played baseball and bowling on the Wii. Andrew, as usual, just sat contently and watched all the big kids play. It was a really fun Friday afternoon.
