Hard to believe that Andrew turned 9 months old on February 8th!! We could not have asked for a better baby than Andrew--he has got the sweetest disposition and is such a happy boy. Although he occassionally likes to get up at 3:30 or 4:00 am for a bottle, Andrew is a good sleeper and is finally starting to take longer naps during the day (thank goodness for me). He still hasn't gotten any teeth but it's not stopping him from eating!! He is getting less and less interested in baby food and more interested in what Mommy, Daddy and Jake are eating. At his doctor's appointment, he weighed 21 lbs. 8 oz. (70th percentile) and was 29 3/4" long (90th percentile). Andrew grabs at everything and is always trying to pull himself up. He is so inquisitive and watches Jake's every move, giggling the whole time. My sweet little baby boy!!
For about a month or so he had been getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth but would never take off. That all changed the day after he turned 9 months when he took off CRAWLING--YIKES! He finally figured it out and now things are definitely getting interesting around our house with two mobile little boys!! I don't think big brother Jake is enjoying his little brother crawling--now that he can crawl he is always coming after whatever Jake is playing with! Andrew has already been busy getting into every drawer in the bathroom and kitchen, pulling things out of electrical outlets and knocking over Parker's water bowl. Better start baby proofing this place!!
