On Saturday, we went to a bonfire in Alton to celebrate Aunt Christy and Uncle Ryan's birthday (both on the 30th). On the way there, we made made a surprise visit to Mimi and Papa's to do some early trick-or-treating. Our little monkey and turtle looked so cute--I realized I need to cherish these early years when they don't care if they wear cute, little animal costumes--one day all they'll want to be is a monster or an alien or a football player. Jake took right to the trick-or-treating--he waited at Mimi and Papa's door patiently and yelled "Trick -or-Treat" when they saw him. He also got the hang of eating the candy pretty quickly too!!!
