Fall Fun

Last Saturday, my parents (Momo and Papa) had a big bonfire to celebrate all the October birthdays (Aunt To-To on the 17th, Chloe on the 20th and Papa Dane on the 21st). My dad had a huge brush pile that had been accumulating for almost 2 years so needless to say we had a huge fire--we even asked the volunteer fire department to be there just in case the fire got a little out of control (they even let the kids help with the fire hose). Mimi graciously volunteered to watch Andrew for the night so he wouldn't be out in the cold (thanks Mimi!!) and Josh and I were able to enjoy a little quality time with Jake.
My parents even rented a bounce house and cotton candy machine for the big birthday/fall celebration. Jake was super excited about the bounce house (and I was super excited about the cotton candy machine--which makes a ton of cotton candy by the way). We roasted hot dogs and made s'mores and went on a hayride--all kinds of fall fun. Josh had also promised Jake that we would put up a tent so he could use his Sesame Street sleeping bag--Jake just had a blast going in and out of the tent. Good, fall fun!!!!!!!
