Sunday

On Sunday, we had the annual Chamberlain Drive pumpkin carving, complete with lots of food, lots of pumpkin carving and lots of fun. Although it was a bit windy, the temperature was perfect for carving pumpkins. Jake loved getting the seeds out of the pumpkin--he thought it was pretty cool getting his hands all "yucky." Our pumpkin turned out really good and Jake got a real kick out of watching it at night all lit up. We enjoyed some pizza with the neighbors afterwards at the Cooks house and we all played a quick game of flashlight war with the neighbors behind it--needless to say, Jake and Andrew were both exhausted at the end of the day and in bed by 8:00 (a rare thing these days). We're so blessed to have moved onto a great street with an awesome group of neighbors!!
Josh and Jacob hard at work on the pumpkin.

"It's so slimy!"

What a cute little pumpkin, isn't he?

All the kids and their pumpkins.

Looks good, doesn't it?
